    Default Customer configured camera

Dell and Compaq computers allow customers to configure their computer system.

Waiting for the day when camera buyer can add or minus the features/specifications and get what they really want.

Then I can order a D3000 with bracketing and a top LCD panel. I can do away with the 11 AF points and settle for 7 AF points. Also forget about the User guide mode.

I think if you want a "made-to-order" camera, the price of the crop body will be as ex as a ready-made FF body.. (i.e. 40D for a price of Mk II)
