    These are some redundant statements that you always hear...
    Feel free to add on! create some laughters!

    1.) Hey! You're here! <-- No. I'm not here. It's my soul.
    2.) You cut your hair? <-- Yah. I took a scissors & cut it...
    3.) Anyone sitting here? <-- Can't U see for yourself?
    4.) Are you awake? <-- Do i have the choice to say NO?

    Hahaha.. the correct phrase should be "Is this seat reserved?".
    Not "Anyone sitting here." Else that person is blind, then he's allowed to ask that qn.

    haha, quite farnie, here's my version when my fiends ask me these questions.....

    1.) Hey! You're here! > Nope, I'm not here, it's my ghost u'r toking to....
    2.) You cut your hair? > Nope, I didn't, the barber did it....
    3.) Anyone sitting here? > not at the moment, unless u plannin to do so...
    4.) Are you awake? > Nope, juz toking in my sleep....

    I got this buddy of mine who has a silly habit of calling my home number, and asking where i am. Dumbass.

    Not exactly redundant, but "as per normal" always drives me up the walls, as do "irregardless" and "literally"!

    And I remember hearing this in Oz, when one person is asking another person if he/she prepares his/her own meals : " Do u cook yourself ?? "

    I think in the context of Singaporeans, we tend to use them pretty often. For me, it's the word 'actually'. Don't believe it? Try listening to your friends talk and take note of how many 'actuallys' have they actually used! You can actually ask you friend to do the count for you too!
