    Default Some flower shots

    Some flower shots I ook over last weekend.

    Any comments will be appreciated. Also, I need tips on composition. Thank you.





    For the following shots, which composition and orientation is more suitable..?

    I like #1, but it would be better if you crop off the distraction on the left side of the photo to give the flower more focus.

    I like number 2 but if you can clean up the top left hand corner where the green leaf is, it will be cleaner and maybe less distracting in my opinion.

    Number 2 is great ! Nice colours and sharpness. I have to agree with moby that the top left hand corner is a bit of a distraction.

    Between 3 and 4 though, I personally prefer 3

    May I ask what set-up are your using though ?

    Updated #2 and removed the distraction.

    I'm currently using Canon 40D with 28-135mm lens
