a bit bigger than the g-10. functionally the same, just dat it can take more weight. depending on ur camera setup, just choose accordingly bah...

for me, i chose neither and stuck with my benro KS-1 cos i like the bigger tripod plate.

never used a gitzo before. but now that i changed the ballhead to a benro, seems more secure for me, for wat its worth.

u mean the manfrotto carbon fibre tripod? you get wat you paid for, as i've mentioned earlier. the sirui does compare well with the manfrotto tho. just dat certain users might find sirui not as well-made as the manfrotto.

other than dat, i am happy with sirui becos it fits my needs at a very reasonable price.

i dun have any experience with benro tripods. so far, i'm only using their ballhead. but from my quick test at TK, i like the way sirui's legs deploy faster than benro. benro's leg deployment speed is something like gitzo - u know... that little resistence in slowing the leg down from popping out too fast? personally i never like it. but some people need it to prevent accidental deployment, i guess.

depends on how urgent is your need, i guess. oh yah. the version that i have now? one of the legs can be transformed into a monopod. so, it's 2 for the price of 1.

I had tried my hands on the CF tripods and I am impressed I used to own the Gitzo GT1541 and had tried Benro ones. IMO, it is better than Benro and almost comparable to Gitzo. I am definitely getting one
