interesting subject... just think that not enuf attention is drawn to it. how about zooming in closer? e.g.

It's meant to be a picture that tells its own story. The fishermen along the jetty in the background, the barnacle-encrusted tyre that was dragged up from the deep. I had to include the background. It's over-exposed because this was 1600 film in bright sunlight.

oic... i guess my personal expectation after reading the caption was to see a "big" catch of some sort, with emphasis on its size. Agree that the background had to be included to give the subject its context.
