    just to remind you bro, the nikkor 18-200mm AFS VR costs 1k+ and it's 70mm shorter at the long end... thanks for sharing infos bout VR thingy anyways, i'll try to improve the way i hold the cam when i shoot.

    anybody got idea when the sony A550 will be launched here in SG?

    i just tried my hands on the A550 today... grip felt ok, the dial is something getting used to, coz it's in front... shot in auto mode, colors are vivid, bright and sharp! LCD screen image is ! but the 9 focus point, plastic constructed body and the flipping sound of the mirror when you shoot is something to think about... still deciding!

    no... 550 ISO is so much better.

    I think A550 is a good choice if you thinking from the value for money perspective.
