Hi,
I just bought a polaroid 635CL online at quite a high price. I am the third owner. The camera looks ok except that on the piece where you have to flip up and down to load film, 1 cm of the plastic at the corner has been chipped off. I loaded it with 600 films with expiry date 09/09 and began shooting. The photos that came out are not of the usual quality. The colours are not vibrant. They are yellowish almost sepia. The contrast is not very good- the images are abit light. I feel abit cheated by the seller of the cam and I hate this feeling... ![]() Can someone tell me is the camera is not functioning properly or are the expired films the cause of the yellowish effect? This is the first time I'm using expired 600 films. The films were not coldstored by the way... Thanks... |

did you have another camera to test the pack of film?
and another pack of film to test the camera? for what I see now, more likely is the film fault, if camera spoiled, you either get over or underexposed images, if lens fault, you either get out of focus or foggy images. your film expired not to long ago, shouldn't have such problem, however, depends on how the film is stored, if keep in the car boot and park under hot sun, the film won't last for a few hours. |
