Use a Wider lens so that the depth of field will be widerI think you should focus on an object first and then lock that focus to create the light painting. Once there is a focused object, the blurring around should be considered bokeh.
Ohhhhh. Because I was using the 10s timer thing, with the autofocus locked then the countdown starts, but apparently we (friends and i) moved out of the focus area, which probably = focused on nothing. Haha. I still dont really know how to set all the functions yet. I'm still learning! =)
