i tried updating my A1 to the latest 1.02u but it failed.
current version is 1.02e. These are the steps i have done:
1) downloaded the firmware, unzipped.
2) copied the file to the main folder of the CF card (128MB).
3) disconnected USB. off cam, unplug cable.
4) switched on cam, turned to replay mode.
5) cam prompted for update, selected yes.
6) 2 seconds later it gave me "Card Error" and swicthed off on its own.
I had tried with another 128MB CF card, still failed, i even formatted it using the cam. does another know what had i done wrong?

Default Hahah.....you guys are really funny lah......

Hiee....

FYI......the 1.02e are for the europe SKU's and the 1.02U are for the US SKUs.
the 'e' , 'u' are not running alphabets denoting revisions.

The secret of electronic industry is .....do not fix something that is not broken....else you will run into newer set of issues.....
