Hi all, have been playing with 5060 for a while with the given 32mb XD card and a 512mb CF. Very seldom do i use XD other than those occasions where i want to take a paranoma shots as the mode is only available when i switch over to XD card.
However, a 32mb is simply insufficient and i'm looking into a bigger capacity to store just paranoma pictures. Maybe looking at 128mb or 256mb the most. I have checked. THere's FujiFilm XD which cost cheaper than Olympus and another is by Transcend. ANyone tried using those 3rd party XD and the paranoma mode still works? Need to confirm before i go scouting for a bigger capacity. Price too if you can recall. Pardon me for composing such a lengthy one.... ![]() |

I am currently using a 512MB Olympus XD as my main storage. Pictures taken using the Olympus XD card will be compatible with the CAMEDIA Software's stitching function. However, I still prefer to use Panorama Factory to stitch as it provides better stitching quality than the CAMEDIA Software. Only thing is, need to check if in "Panorama Mode", whether the Olympus digicams lock the focal length and exposure for easier stitching ... Thanks guys. Think i can save up the moolah for other things since paronama factory is capable of a better job than Olympus itself.
Hmmm... tele conversion..... ![]() |
