5050? 5060? S7000?

hi guys..

been looking for a DC(1st) for the past month or so.. finally narrowed to these few, but i hv some concerns abt them.. i might be wrong abt some facts as i m still very new to all this, hope u guys dun mind.. ok here goes..

C5050 pros: great optics, bright lens, pics from forums are sharp n clear..
cons: design 1 yr old CA at high contrast

C5060 pros: wide lens, great for indoor(?)... pics are nice n sharp
cons: slow/dark lens?? batt, swivel LCD might not last?

S7000(Fuji) pros: great ergonomics, 6x zoom
cons: a bit bulky


hope u guys can gimme some unbiased input ..
me having the .analysis paralysis' after reading sooooooo many reviews!!

it's tough when you are trying to get unbias input in the Olympus forum...ha ha ha...might want to check out two lengthy threads on the pros and cons of 5060: (1) http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=55461, and (2) http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=50137

I'm a 5060 user myself...and am proud of it...hee...hee..hee...

ya i know how is it man.. ehehehehe

anyway read a lot of happy owners of 5060 here, but at the same time also a lot of 'defective' units ard... seems like a batch problem?? did u checkout dpreview.com? very informative..! even the salesman from CP n SimLim recommended the 5050 instead!!

BTW i am pretty sure that 5060 can take terriffic pics.. juz not too sure abt the mentioned 'batch problems' and also the swivel LCD - dunno can last as long as the cam or not...

haizzzz .. maybe i wait till the S7000 to arrive n compare..?
