    Default ooolddd slr

    recently i found my super old nikon EM SLR in super bad condition... rusty and fungus growing inside lens....its it worth to send for recondition???

    pls advice

    I think the re-conditioning cost would be higher than if you bought a new one. So unless there is strong sentimental value in it, I'd suggest you get a new camera instead.

    Second that. The EM is pretty much worthless these days unless you want to use the parts. What lens does it have on it? If it is a pretty good lens, it *might* be worth sending in for reconditioning.

    Nikon Lens Series E 50mm 1:1.8
    just normal lens...

    Nikon EM and the 50mm E lens are both low end model, not much value even it is in top tip condition, can just leave it there for collecting dusts, be a paper weight
