Hasselblad has today announced a new generation of medium format digital camera, the H4D, which features a slick technology called True Focus AF designed to compensate for the focus error that can occur when focusing and then recomposing. It is to appear initially in the 60.1MP H4D-60, which is slated for release in January 2010, followed by the H4D-50 later in the first quarter. The company is also preparing an update to its Phocus raw conversion software that is designed to be easier to learn and adds several new features.
