True but how many can unscrew? To totally unscrew oneself, you need to get out of the viscious cycle of your habbit, envt, circle of (bad) influence, etc, etc. Very few actually made it.

Thus, it is easier, IMO, not to screw up in the first place.

Yes, I agree with you. It's better not to mess up big time right from the start.
But hey, this world is in no uncertain manner, no less complicated than years ago. Messing up is much easier. And so often it happened even in apparently well-controlled and seemingly civilised home environments.
Sadly even the most well-meaning up-bringing may produce a shocker.
It's nothing but millions of sharp needles unrelentingly piercing the hearts of the parents.
I work in an environment where I am fortunate enough to witness unscrewing behaviours. And therefore my personal commitment is to keep my belief of the good natured-ness of human being.

    Obiwan: She's our only hope.
    Yoda: No, there's another.

Perhaps the organizers will use this hiccup as a reason to salvage their disaster of a decision and send another one instead?

Poor thing???? lol, steal $$$ from her patient also consider poor thing????
I highly doubt that she uses the $$$ for some life and death matters, most likely is spending something that beyond her need.

Imaging if it is a fat ugly uncle who steal $$$ from his patient, is he class under "poor thing, and let pray for him"?

I wouldn't pray for her, i will said "Served you Right, you are lucky that this time round you are not throw into jail. Wake up your idea and start thinking for your own future".

In showbiz, bad publicity is still good publicity. Who knows, MediaCrop might offer her a contract? I am sure if she's in some TV serial, people would be at least curious to watch...

Be civil in the remarks here, that's one of the rules here. eg http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=11 remarks will not be tolerated - and infraction given.

I am posting what one members commented but the post was deleted (maybe not to incur the wrath/or get into unnecessary argument with the mob and heard mentality of the ppl here)

    quote:

We are all not all that innocent.

"Let him who is without sin among you throw the first stone."

What is really embarassing is how easy it is for us to point fingers at other people's shortcomings, or past mistakes.

Ppl here seems to take joy and pride to whack others, without any hint of compassion. The saving grace is at least we have some members like "stinkyboy" "contaxtable" & "limwhow" who stood apart from the mob here

Any idea who is the 2nd runner up for Miss world? What is her quality? Just in case she is stripped from the title.

shouldn't the 1st runner up be offered the title before the 2nd runner up?

It is unfortunate that this has happened. But it also brings to question - what are the organizers doing - arent there disclosures that contestants have to sign, arent there background checks etc. Maybe life is too comfortable in Singapore and people in charge are getting too complacent ...

With a conviction on her records, how did she get to enter the contest in the first place? Either she lied to get in the contest or the org.er was sleeping
I get paid more shooting part time ...... damn, I should find more time to shoot part time

Something fishy... This is probably some plot so she would not be able to represent singapore.
