    Default Camera Setting for F1

New to phtography and just bought my first DSLR.

Will be using it for the first time during the F1, wondering what camera setting should I be using?

Was thinking of using shutter priorty and adjust to a slower shutter speed for panning shots. But what shutter speed should I set?

Should I also be using burst mode??
Should I set auto focus to continuous auto focus mode??

What other things/settings should I take note of?

You should take note of the existing 20-30 threads dealing with this. Same story as last year.

Your camera manual and a bit of basic knowledge can answer half of your questions. Check the sticky threads and guidelines here in newbies sections (carefully look in top of the thread listing).
Beside this ... Formula 1 is motor sports, right? Most cameras have a sports mode *hint*.
