The TS did not buy the lens.
More like the Seller is unethical in a way that he did not honestly state the condition of the lens.
Wasting buyer's time to travel down to meet up.

Why not just exposed his nick so that potential buyers will not waste their time to deal with him.

There r sellers in CS with multiple a/cs, so sharing nicks will still be useless.

Just know that there r these people out there and be careful loh...

"Condition was stated 10/10, no dust, no fungus and no scratch.

And seconds within the moment I look into the lens..... I saw a big bright crack at the extreme corner.... some fungus and lots of dust. Internal dust somemore.... "

From what you have stated, he's out to sell the lens to unsuspecting buyers or newbies.
What's there to be doubtful of?

"One thin line" can cause lots of problem later... if you want to sell on serious forums, better prepare for serious buyers. I think it's better for the community to name and shame... always good to have the pros look out for the newer members in the community.

So far all the serious sellers that I would take credibly off the bat are those who post closeups/ hires shots of the product.

    One example is http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=575998

I remember seeing a sell post for a prime lens, show several shots of front, back, full aperture open and then photos done by the lens. Now THAT is a serious seller.
