Default Canon 8800F - troubleshooting

Hi there, please help me:

I just installed the Canon 8800F scanner and the software to my Mac OSX.

The Canon-proprietory menu MP Navigator EX 1.0 is fine except I can't switch the film scanning option from 35mm to 120 format! Try as I might I just can't switch it despite deleting and installing the software a few times (after trashing it in the bin).

I should be able to switch to 120 format in the option... but I just can't! It's fixed on 35mm somehow...

Please help if you know how I can fix this...

Thanks in advance!

My friend with the same scanner and OS had the same issue, but was able to scan 120 format negs fine. I will test it when I get some 120 negs to scan.

For now, case closed. Thanks

Sorry, a bit late

Don't think there would be an issue. First of all, you should ignore the 35mm/120mm dropdown and do a PREVIEW first. The software will automatically detect the film type in the scanner and switch to that automatically.
Hope this helps.
