    Well, some people take 10MP photo but view it (fit) on a small monitor and they will say "OMG, my head is so small! Where's the 10MP quality?"

    They just don't understand that one can crop out an area but still look nice on screen or small print.

    There are fundamental differences between zoom and magnification.

    "Zoom" is bringing a distance object closer to you.

    "Magnification" is the process of making the object larger at the same focal length.

    I'll supply the long answer in a short while.
