    Default SB600, SB800, or SU800 + SB600?... opinions please!

hi all, am using a nikon D5000 and planning to get a flash... i'm gonna use it for shooting flowers indoor. do i need a flash that could go wireless? i know for a fact that my cam doesn't have a commander mode, so if ever i have to use a wireless flash in the future, from what i've read, i could attach this SU800 in my cam to be the commander. now, my questions are... 1. does my kind of photography (shooting macros of flowers indoor) require a wireless flash? 2.should i just get an SB600 or SB800? 3.is it worth it to get a SU800 + SB600? hoping to get sound advice from bros here... thank you very much!

Personally I think the SB-800 + SB-600 is a better choice as you'd have more flashes to play with later on when you decide to upgrade your camera body to one which is able to be a commander for AWL.

Alternatively, if you need just a single flash to be used off camera, consider using a SC-28 or SC-29 cable.
