Already drooling for quite some time.

Unfortunately the guestimated price tag of ~1200 (with pancake lens) or ~1500 (with 14-45) is a bit steep.

How fast is the focussing? ISO shots looks okay cause there is plenty of light.

Focusing with the 20mm is as fast as my d80 with 35mm f1.8 dx prime.

The pro nikkors like 70-200mm afs focus significantly faster but thats not a fair comparison.

Hmm... it would be much better if the comparison could be done on the same subject, or at least the same iso if that is not feasible. Great efforts though.

In the meantime, can post some pics on the E-P1 with the same iso as the GF-1, for easy comparison sake?

Btw, is that watch a Protrek 80? I have the same watch, mine is the titanium black version.

@Davidsim: Nice to meet you (I was the other David, see #3 pic posted). GF-1 is really nice, technically it's a very solid M4/3 camera. Will post my write-up soon as well. Thanks again to EOW for the invite/post.

EP1 has added advantage of IS when used with pana 20mm f1.7. The low light possibilities! :O
