Default Minolta Z1 vs Fujifilm S5000

    Hi there.

I'm just curious of how you guys feel about these 2 cameras.

I personally own a S5000 but I chose it over the Z1 despite the Z1 having more features. Reason being that when I held the Z1, it feels too plastic and by shaking the cam, I can hear the sound of something moving in the cam. Don't feel safe.

Not trying to shoot down the Z1. I feel that this cam is still very good in it's own ways.

Perhaps you guys might want to just post your own views on these 2 cams in regards to the subject?

Hi I agree with you Z1 feels very "plastic". But I heard
it's AF is fast (not sure how fast ). Why not consider
Olympus 740uz / 750uz. These are very solid metal cameras.
I did own 740uz and very happy with it.
My only complain is the ISO 200 noise. But if you stick
to ISO100 then you get very good pictures.

Thanks for your opinion. I've actually got the S5000 already. Quite a decent cam.
