both...laser printer for documents and inkjet for photos and colors. takes up space but saves $$$ ^_^

Me too, I wanted to buy samsung colour laser printer but i am having problem, i have to buy flash, lenses.

Cheapest but are their toners the cheapest? Normally manufacturers sell their printers cheap but rip us off on the inks and the toners

Yes, Samsung color laser is the cheapest in the market.
Their toner also quite cheap also.

4 toner inside. $60 for each color (x3 clr) and $70 for the black.
Color can print about 400+ page, base on my printing standard (standard essay format).
And the black can get about 600+ page or lesser.

The quality is rather poor. Hence, when printing picture, you will see pixel.
Text document, however, is perfectly ok.

Just something I would like to share.
Samsung color printer, cannot do heavy duty.
its also extremely slow (4 ppm) and I am experiencing lots of paper jam issue, recently.

Been using the CLX-3175FN for 4 months alrdy and is very upset with the printer.

If I knw of this from the start, I would pay a bit more and go for the HP 1312NFi alrdy.

I bought a Samsung CLX2160 MFP laser printer (Color Print,scan copy)
Still in good condition. No jam. But quality definitely not as good as many machine although it can still print nice sharp black text. Usually use it for printing agreements and itinerary so no issue with the quality.
At least it helped me save alot of money on inkjet where ink dries up if you don't use frequently.

How is the colour accuracy of laser printer vs inkjet? Cos I want to check my photos that I want to print in 8R before I send for printing in photo lab.

just bought a canon PIXMA IP4760 inkjet photo-printer for $199 at best denki road show.....looking forward to use it...

The samsung printer is actually expensive to operate. The toner and drum are sold separately but the cost of the toner alone is similar to buying drum +toner on other models. Output is crap. I;m using Color inkjet and black and white laser for documents. Now thinking of upgrading my inkjet to one of those with external tanks.
