At the top of my head, Amex has the WORSE exchange rates. HSBC isn't too bad.

I don't know about exchange rates but in terms of rebates, the Mahattan Card (Standard Chartered) is one of the best. If your expenditure is more than $3000 for the quarter that you spent in, you get 5% rebate (capped at $300 per quarter) for that quarter.

I did this when I went to Japan last year.

I have used Citibank & UOB before, both are pretty good. But I have cancelled my UOB already, so using my Citibank card most of the time.

Yes, I agree with Galdor, UOB offers pretty good conversion rates. Minimal mark-up.

Exclamation Re: which credit card offers the best exchange rate?

About 2 years ago in Korea, I used Citibank to pay for some stuff costing less than S$200 and my wife used UOB.
Same shop, same day and nearly same time.... yet after receiving my bill and comparing it with my wife's my citibank bill was higher due to the conversion rates (definately more than $10 difference, can't remember how much).
I called Citibank to complain on why their conversion rates are so lousy compared to UOB. They informed that they convert Korean to USD then USD to Sing. For local banks, they convert directly from Korean to Sing.

Since then all my overseas trip I have been using my UOB & DBS credit cards to avoid. Don't ask me about how other banks conversion is like, I didn't check with the other banks.
