    Default Does anyone print photos using a laser printer?

    as above. thinking of getting a colour laser printer which clogs lesser, and can handle graphics/text better.
    Canon 40D 17-55mm/f2.8 IS, 50mm/f1.8, 70-200mm/f4 IS

    Depends on the purpose of the photos. Bottomline, still cannot beat an inkjet for IQ. I am using a Lexmark colourlaser 532n, photo quality is not too bad and the replacement colour toner cartridges are around $200 each.

    Whichever brand you buy, make sure that you get a sample of the printout of your photo to test the IQ first.

    I tried printing photos with my office's LASER printer before, and on normal paper, I think it's a cheap alternative if you're just framing it up for fun. However, I do feel the dynamic range is reduced... Shadows lose details, highlights lose details too... Others' experiences may differ though...

    Test with a Fuji Xerox Phaser and see if you like the output.
