    Hi guys,
    I need your help about productís photography (jewelry)
    My question is : I want to take some photos for a jewelry products to show it at my e-commerce web site , I have Olympus 720 and a products photographing box but I want to know if the camera is suitable for this kind of photography and if I need special filters for jewelry photographing ,

    u might wan to consider those close-up filters

    Get a light tent and it may help to provide good lighting to your product shots..

    more tips
    - table lamps : you can get it from IKEA
    - tripod : stablise your camera
    - closeup filters : As what Jer76 mention, you can take very closeup shots.

    i bought those halogen lamps from ikea den found out its yellowish. dun think there is any white halogen lamps available.

    btw there is flickering in normal florescence lamp & tungsten lamps? only way to compensate is use a slow shutter or get a 100hz lamp? thinking of changing to a 100hz florescene lamp.
