Minolta Z1 user feedback/review needed

i'm planning to get the Minolta Z1, would appreciate it if any of the user could provide me with reviews/feedback on the camera itself.

is the 10X Zoom adjustable in the 1-10X region or is it fixed in Steps??

There's a good number of reviews of Z1 around u can go thru... To cut it short, I would say an "above average" ratings from reviews & users... I'm very pleased with mine. The question really is -- does the Z1 meets yr needs? U can better find out by downloading the Z1 manual & go thru first...
