    C2020's feature is similar to the C2040's, so i think it should make no difference.

    The C-2020z and C-2040z is almost similar except for the lens...

    C-2020z -> F2.0/F11, 35mm ~ 105mm.

    C-2040z -> F1.8/F10, 40mm ~ 120mm.

    Since both use the CLA-1, the set-up shouldn't be a prob for the C-2040z either....

    But using a UV filter as extender ring.......just make sure that u get a cheapo one for that one u r gonna break.
