Open up your file in photoshop, convert it to 300dpi and change ur dimensions to cm or inches or to whatever you prefer. turn on rulers and you can see the output size.

assuming without resizing and up-close photoquality print, one can take 180dpi as image res to give about
width ~ 22.87in, 58.08cm height ~ 15.38in, 39.06cm for banner size viewing (i.e. looking at it from say more than a meter away), one can take 75dpi as image res to give about width ~ 54.88in, 139.40cm height ~36.91in, 93.74cm if your image is perfectly sharp, and being a CG image I would assume so unless the blurness is intentional, using Photoshop one should be able to upsize the image up to 4 times, with some sharpening, to reasonably acceptable quality... which would give, at 180dpi, width ~ 91.47in, 232.33cm height ~ 61.51in, 156.24cm or at 75dpi, width ~ 219.52in, 557.58cm height ~ 147.63in, 374.97cm ymmv ![]() Last edited by theRBK; 22nd August 2009 at 03:47 PM. |
