WTB close up filter

Hi guys! is there anybody here have tried to use close up filters (+4) how's the result when using it with tele lens like 75-300 on canon 300d, did the object sharp and what distance the shooting from the object must be? pls advise what is the good but cheap filters should i get?

Sorry, it wouldn't work, you never get focus. If you want a workable closeup filter, you got to get 500D from canon. It is specially designed to work with 300mm tele lens.
