Default First Minolta A1 shots@Wedding

Just changed from a Sony Cybershot F707 to a Minolta Dimage A1 and was invited to shoot at a friend's wedding on Christmas night. Was quite nervous, although not my first wedding shoot. Haven't actually familarised myself with the camera but anyway the shots are all here. Please comment.

Correct me if wrong.Maybe he never use a flash or the flash is not powerfull enough.
I also get this type of too orangy picture when I take during my kids concert without using a flash.
Please enlightern me.Thank you

actually my first few shots was using the built-in flash then my friend loaned me his Minolta 3600HS(D) external flash. But it had been a successful run with my A1.

it's the white balance that's off.

I am quite certain that the white balance is off. The AWB is pretty ok for outdoor shots but for indoor with lights (regardless of daylight, tungsten or flourscent), it is off. if you have shot in JPG, my advice is to adjust the HUE slightly to correct it. If you have shot in RAW, adjust the colour temperature manually until you get the correct skin tone or dress colour. Takes time.
