Since CYRN is doing portraits, i thought i ought to try birds.

hmmm...its a nice idea but somehow the background really distracts alot...with bleaching patches here and there, and the leaves.....but the concept is there...nice use of panning skill....

Agree with Matthew on the background being distracting, some how it did bring out the desired effects of speed and movement. And yes good panning skill.

Wah, how did my portraits relate to bird shooting

Can I ask what's the focal length you used to capture this?

Excellent panning, the kite seemed to be flying out of the pic.
