hi guys, any idea how to plot a polynomial equation on excel (if its even possible)? i've been googling since morning. urghh.

I know one can plot from values. eg. x y values. but i need to plot something like

    ((1.6^(x/4)*(1000000)-((50000)*((1.6^(A1/4)-1/(1.6^(1/4)-1)))
(any a few more similiar equations!) urgh until x goes to hundreds -.-

so yeah, anyway to do it more efficiently?

Help would be really appreciated! Thanks for viewing!

I'm no expert, but from what I see, since you can plot from X Y values, and since Y = the forumla you put; can't you create a bunch of cells with X values, and let excel populate the Y values, and then use those values to make a graph?

sorry, i don't get what you mean

do you just want a general graph? or specific.

if you have a range, and you want a general line graph.. then no need use excel mar.

why not just use mathematica to plot the graph for you? or there might be some free programs or websites that can do that for you
