Default Holding strap for Dynax 7/9 (HS-01)

Dear Konotians,

this tread actually targets both 7 and 9 (with grip) photographers. Any of you need this holding strap to go with your camera? I contacted many regular shops but none have them including Funan. Hence, I may approach Funan people to arrange to bring in some (but may take some time). My guess is that this holding strap should be compatible with the upcoming DSLR (if any). Providing a large number of potential buyer may ensure they work faster

Alternatively, you can either improvise the strap by tying a flexible strap on the 2 loops on the body of Dynax 7/9 or purchase the Canon 10D/300D model at 44+. Minolta one should cost around 50 (exclude GST).

Please response to this tread and I will try to inform the guys at Minolta on the outcome. No promise that this will work but worth a try. Thanks.

If I dun remember wrongly the last time I asked them to order the VC-7 for me, they said that they can put in the order only in the 2nd week of each month and it takes like 1-2 months for the order to ship in. At leat I got my VC-7 after 2 months. They (Minolta sales - nice lady ) actually called me to inform me that I could go to Alan Photo to buy it...

I was ever offered $45 for the HS-01 strap but the person who offered me brand new does not seem to frequent this forum anymore. It seems that he was a regular importer from Japan. Apparently it was not gray products but with warranty. Never buy from him before lar but that's what he says. I think I might still have his PM.

An alternative is to buy from a 3rd party brand. I think CP sells these right? I've a colleague who uses a strap with a foam cushion (very comfortable) which costs only $20. But it's not so pro looking lar. Can't remember the brand though, but it's a vertical grip strap. He mentioned he bought it from CP.
