Looking north-east towards Everest at the central summit of Mera Peak (6461m). Everest (8850m) is the black peak at the left 3rd of the picture, and Makalu (world's 5th highest at 8463m) is the brown peak on the right 3rd.

Hi Mega, Ya... kind of agree with you that there is not enough of the sky. It usually happens when I take the pano handheld resulting the frames not exactly vertical, so a portion of the sky is cropped out due to imperfect stitching. Hi NuTs, Yup we were at the summit at 6461m. And yup we have 3 climbing sherpas (guides) with us (a team of 7 climbers) on this trip. We went on to climb Island Peak after Mera, and then went around Khumbu area to visit Everest base camp, Gokyo and other places. ![]() |
