Perhaps the best place is to go to Ruby or Ron's camera. Ron's have quite a bit of Tri-X and the bulk roll too.

Oh its been years since the last time I picked up a few boxes of Tri-X from Ron's. When you're there let me know the current price of a roll. Thanks.

u need a roller, possiblity of a ruler and a darkbag or darkroom

then just spool it in and wind into the canister till the estimated length (hehehehe) and cut

you dont' really get 36, sometimes more sometimes less, depending on how you estimate the length. But doesn't matter. For leica shooters, most older Leicas accept IXMOO cassettes for bulk loading. Though I've saved a few hundred empty film canisters I'm planning to bulk roll (but too lazy so far to start that project).
