Am I right to say this 866 is able to use an external battery pack to make recycling time faster like sb800/900?

Wow, this looks like some flash. Good price too, and if it's smaller than the behemoth that is the SB900, a worthy alternative.

Yes, with an external battery pack, the recycling time is shortened and the number of flashes is increased.

From the Nikon version point of view, 866(Nikon) can be used as both master and slave. We will confirm again when we receive the Canon version.

I think the Nissan is a very powerful flash at a very reasonable price.

Many of us has bought diffusers and light modifiers like Gary Fong, softbox, beauty dish, etc. I would like to ask if there are any plans to integrate Nissan with the following products or is it already integrated?

Thanks.

To clarify, can be used with Canon DSLRs and have all the functions of a 580 EXII ?
Or is this still pending ? Nice product.

Thank you for your enquiries! We think that the 866C will have similar functions as 580EX2 (ie, able to control wireless flash etc..). We will have concrete details after we test the Canon version.

Many diffusers such as the Lambency or Gary Fong is capable to fit many types of flash heads. Currently, the diffuser that is suitable for Di866 is Lambency Diffuser P4.
