Default dry cabinet and uw casing

Guys, do u store your underwater casing in the dry cabinet?
how about the o rings?

I think no need to store it in dry cabinet.
O rings will dry in dry cabinet.
I keep mine in the bag only.

Apparently you don't need to and also the o-rings may dry out (esp those o-rings around the buttons which cannot be self-maintained!). Someone also told me to remove the outer o-ring (around the outer edge of the housing) before storing so that the o-ring is not stored in a compressed state. Cld someone confirm this?

Yes do take the Main O-ring out when you are storing the Housing, Reason being the Compressed/Stretched state of the O-Ring will eventually lead to leaks, since the Suppleness of the O-Ring is no longer desired.

It is not actually that hard to service/clean OLY housing, if you do need help, do drop in UWCS SEED and i will help you on that.

i keep my o-ring (only one anyway) in a ziploc bag as provided intially, in the original paper box. may keep ONLY the u/w casing in a new dry cabinet soon...
