beautiful shot. its difficult to get a good exposure with the sun in the pic but you pulled it off well

Good reminder that the photographer is obviously more important than the equipment. As for the jagged border, a bit distracting to me (personal preference only)

To my knowledge, when you are shooting sunrise or sunset picture(s), try metering it at a hand(with your fingers pointing upwards, thumb close & your arm straighten at where the sun is) distance either to the left or to the right side of the whole sun & this will give you quite accurate exposure. So don't blame me if the picture(s) turn out wrong.
Or am I talking nonsence again.

Never do that . I think what a camera metering system gives us is more than enough.

first one I used CPL, second I used UV. For the color, it is because EBX has very hi saturation.
