Default A day in a construction site

Snapping away with a compact.



Very dangerous job!
The column was abt 10 storeys tall, and these guys were positioning it at the bottom!


This one was posted in the Critique corner...
Would the sparks damage the CCD?

Actually bright lights can damage CCDs... so becareful when shooting things such as wielding and sun... I usually pop on my ND to be safe...

When I saw the cutout and the welder, I just had to take the shot!

Unless its for a prolonged period, it should be safe. And it should be safe for welding shots as well, but probably not shooting into the sun at high noon.
