Urgent Help Needed!

Here's the problem:

My aunt wants to buy a digi cam for herself and she's gonna buy 1 tomorrow, theres no stopping her it seems! I don't really know what kinda camera to reccomend her as she just wants a point and shoot digital camera, but expects high megapixels and good quality zoom and also a nice design (for ladies of course)

Her price range is btwn $400-$500

Can anyone recommend any good digital cameras so i can save her from eternal damnation with a crummy overpriced camera? I would also be grateful if you could list the price and where to get it at that price.
