market price of 2nd hand S1 and S2 pro

hi..

like to ask you guys out there the following question..
A friend of mine had intend to sell of his s1 pro and get a new Dslr.. just like to find does anybody know what is the market price for a 2 nd hand s1pro or a 2nd hand S2 pro..

My opinion is that the value depends on the condition of the camera. Assuming that it is properly taken care of and not abused, I think the current value for an S2Pro is around $2100-$2200. Problem is there's alot of buyers but no seller.

I have advertised my S1Pro for sales too at $1350 (paid $4300) when it first came out. After reviewing the photos taken with it versus those taken with my S2Pro and D1X, I can hardly find any difference. In fact, the TIF taken with the S1Pro seems better than those taken by the other two machines. This is prompting me to reverse my sales intent. I'm sure others will disagree but these are what I saw .. I'm a hobbyist by the way, and not a professional.
Your friend may think twice later.

if i am not wrong and also those expert out there correct me if i am wrong. S1 doesnt have feature's that are avalible in the S2. eg like the continous Focus and it is lighter than its predec and higher buffer rate. .... and etc.. i am looking also looking S2 pro and i have asked around . Like cathyphoto at penisula.. they have told me that they knew of some link that have raised up their prices for S2. up to 3.1k infact at some places..

bt come to think of it.. it is the function that we need and i think i may just settle for something that is about like a S2. and of course after reading some review.. the S2 is better in the max res than the D100.. D100 users .. no offences...
