but you might want to be careful or rather try your luck when you are going there to shoot.

I went there once with my friends last week to shoot. It was only shortly after we deployed our tripods then the security guard came over and stop us from shooting. He said no tripods allowed there and also professional camera as it was private property. Apparently they only allow PnS cameras. It was quite a bad experience for us as we walked really deep in just to get such notice.

according to streetdirectory.com there's a carpark beside the bus interchange..how about parking at harbourfront and walking over?

as long as you are on public land, there's no restriction on what cameras you use to shoot.
    eat. drink. shoot

What a pity for you all.
    Crazy, these security people!
But maybe, maybe.. if you and your friends put up the tripod and pretend to start taking photos of each other and make it obvious to the guard so that he believes that you are just here to drink at the bars and just happened to take some photos.. then later you all get serious and take all you want... Is that possible?
