- emphasis on shooting for microstock
- good for amateurs who intend to earn some supplementary income from microstock to support their expensive photography hobby
- ideal for serious amateurs who are already shoot microstock but have not got started into studio photography yet.
- earn as you learn

Earn As You Learn
Apart from gaining new photographic knowledge and practical experience in shooting for stock, participants can start a new portfolio of marketable stock images
However, photographers should be aware that shooting for microstock is hardwork. It is unlikely that you will recover the costs of this workshop from the royalty earnings of the images you shot in this bootcamp.
The value of this workshop lies in the experience and knowledge you acquire.

Class size: max 6 persons
min 3 to start

Fees: S$500 per person

Early Bird Discount - $10 less if you sign up by 4th August
Bring a friend discount - S$10 if you get a friend to join too.
Bring a talent offer - S$50 rebates for every talent you bring along **

** note: every talent must be ready to sign a model release for all participating photographers. We also need to review your talent recommendations before 3rd August to qualify. Rebates will only be given after the entire bootcamp workshop is over.

The above set of 12 images of a family was shot in a one-hour studio session and uploaded in late March 2009.
Over the last five months, this collection has earned US$97.95 royalties from istockphoto.com, US$64.70 from shutterstock.com and US$55.74 from five other microstock sites
(last checked on 20 July 2009)

Total of US$218.39 in five months and still growing (all from 1-hour of studio shoot)

Workshop Details:
(1) Participants will learn how to do a quick studio setup for shooting "White-On-White" portraits
However, the emphasis will be on directing the models instead of grasping studio techniques and fundamentals
(for learning studio, check our STUDIO BOOTCAMP on 8 August, the day before)

(2) The class will be broken into smaller teams of 2-3 photographers each.
Every team will get at least two hours of shooting team each.
Each team will be assigned two talents
