Can S2 Pro use Nikkor DX lenses?

I have been using my existing AFD Nikkors on the S2 Pro.
Tempted by the new DX lenses that provide wider angles and cost less than 17-35 mm 2.8 Nikkors.
Has anyone tried these lenses on the S2 Pro?

Yes, it does work but not on other older cam as the G lens has no aperture control ring on it. Aperture has to be controlled via your cam control dial.
