best place to buy????

Ok, I have made up my mind for the A1 and should be getting it by this week. The problem is that when I did a check with Cathay Photos today, they quoted me a rather high price: $1600++ I know it comes with a 128MB card and a Minolta brand Tripod but does anyone know where I can get just the camera for a cheaper price like around $1500 or below??? Also, I need a 1GB CF card, suggest one with a resonable and cheap price. Thanks alot.

Also, seems that some people get quoted a better price than me at Cathay Photos.....Do they do does kinda buddy buddy give you discount kinda business?? Is it possible to bargain?

you definitely can bargain. you could try the equotation too.

Anway, try asking the other shops like MS Color and Alan Photo too.

Just gotten mine at MS colour amk for $1560 with a 128 mb card and a tripod (filmsy) as advertised
