Hi guys, I would like to find out how to do this. I can only describe. Hope its clear to all. What I want to do is print a big photo into smaller parts (not pieces) so I can frame the parts individually on my wall so that they will look as the original big photo. Can't find the technique on the Net as I dunno whats it called. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

What you describe is a variation on a Triptyque. I use a small software programme called PHOTOMIX to create collages and I believe it may do exactly what you want. You may download it for a limited validity free trial without buying it.

try googling for triptych which is a picture in three panels side by side

Or if you like just 2 panels.. it's called a diptychs.

Google it and you will see tons of tutorials on this.

i am not sure if ts is talking about diptych or triptrych.

it sounds more like a single image mosaic to me.
