    Question Filter cap

bought a UV filter today, but realised that I do not have a filter cap.

Do you need to buy a filter cap? or does it come free with purchase of any filters ? and how much is it?

    Pls help

got mine for $5 @ AP. however i couldn't find an olympus one and ended up with a Yashica instead. found one blank one (without wording but a bit loose). i think they are available in most camera shops. without a cap, your filter is then exposed to risk of scratches etc.

the lens cap that your have for your lens should work on your filter unless you use a convertor to step upz/down your filter size.

No, your filter will not come with a cap as far as i know.

you should be able to get a lens cap for jus a few dollars, if your orginal cap on your lens cannot work. do take note to buy the ritz size though.
