Usually need to do some PP for digital B&W as the contrast is not very good.Easiest way is to shoot B&W film

Ha, really missed those times when we shoot a couple of rolls, bring it to the lab, and then wait for the results.......

    Ye man.
The process of waiting, then collect your photos.
    Gosh!
That was when I was younger times.
    Collect with mum.
Clean. Simple. Makes out a good composition.

    black and white?

i love black and white, it looks alot better on film really.
to get those high contrast gritty street pictures,
i just wait for the sun to do magic things
if not i try to see what i can do when using the enlarger.
my friend reccommended me to use tri-x for street photos, i'm still in the process of experimenting.

when i do black and white on digital,
my camera doesnt have funny effects,
so i just edit it in photoshop.
    it doesnt take very long,
the process of converting your pictures can be googled,
    'convert pictures black and white'
then toggle with the levels/curves to achieve the contrast.
    dont use grayscale, bleah

i dont think that was terribly helpful, im sorry ><
