help needed for SCA390 and flash

hi,
i'm considering getting a SCA390 flash adaptor for my 503cx hasselblad camera but i'm not sure if it will work with my metz 40mz-2 on a G16 battery grip. i understand from a forumer that the G16 accepts a synchro cord kind of connection which does not give TTL or OTF feature. so the flash will have to operate in auto mode.

i'm moving into indoor shoot and would like to make use of the OTF feature of my camera. would someone like to share your knowledge and experience with me before i plunge into buying the SCA390.

anyone? or should i switch to TLR or mamiya?
