[Charlie Lim] 3-day Commercial Photography (Product/Food/Glassware) Workshop
Introduction
This workshop deals primarily with studio photography and lighting techniques using basic studio equipment. Participants will experiment and get practical opportunities with commercial products, glassware and even food. The workshop aims to bridge any gap in knowledge or confidence that photographers might lack in this aspect to create a beautiful image. Participant's Level of Experience Photographers with basic studio lighting knowledge are preferred, although all are welcome to attend. The workshop targets semi-professional photographers who wishes to understand the fundamentals of table-top lighting. Conduct of Workshop The workshop will be conducted over a period of three weekend days, with intensive hands-on practical sessions and sharing sessions by our instructor, Charlie Lim. Participants will be divided into various main groups, where they will focus on individual products given to them. Course materials will be provided. Course Outline 1. Introduction to Studio Lighting and Equipment 2. Art Direction 3. Composition and Framing of a Picture 4. Colour and Concept 5. Effective Product Shots 6. Lighting Technique 7. Practical Hands-On 8.
